Rooms
All our double rooms are of a very high standard and have an en suite bath or shower room, flatscreen TV and tea & coffee making facilities.
Our ground & first floor rooms are decorated in a traditional country style, some with window seats with views down to the stream. The top floor rooms have more recently been converted from the original Mill.
On the original drying floor, the low beams, with the Miller’s names carved in them, have been exposed.
The Crown Wheel Suite, comprises a large lounge with the original workings of the waterwheel set behind glass, the wheel gently turns by day (but is stopped before bedtime), a modern en suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle and a luxury bedroom complete with four-poster bed.
Our Rooms
Pudleigh
Pudleigh is our ground floor bedroom with a wide door allowing wheelchair access and a large en suite bathroom with a low bath and grab rail. It’s a light and airy room, with the option of a super king-size bed or two twin beds. Two additional put-up beds (for children) can be added to make this a family room.
Nimmer
Nimmer is a large, light, and airy room with a king-size bed and an en suite shower room. A recent refurbishment has exposed a beautiful old oak beam, complemented by handmade oak wardrobe doors. A small put-up bed (for a child) can be added to this room. Located on the first floor.
Cuttiford
Enjoy the comfort of a double pencil bed with decorative turned posts and a flat-screen TV. The en suite bathroom features a bath with a shower mixer attachment. A Velux skylight above allows you to watch the stars as you bathe. Located on the first floor.
Donyatt
Donyatt is located up a short flight of stairs on the first floor. It is a comfortable double bedroom furnished with classic pine furniture. The bathroom has been recently refurbished to a high standard and features a modern shower bath.
Eleighwater
Eleighwater features double-aspect windows with cushioned window seats and a very comfortable antique mahogany king-size four-poster bed. The en suite facilities include a shower cubicle. Located on the first floor.
Chaffcombe
Chaffcombe is a modern room with a vaulted ceiling, overlooking the helipad and offering stunning views of the daffodil bank in springtime. It features large twin beds and en suite facilities with a shower cubicle. Located on the first floor.
Wadeford
Wadeford is a double bedroom recently converted on the original drying floor of the old Mill (second floor), offering fine views down to the stream. It features a double bed and an en suite shower room. Low beams, with the names of the old millers carved into them, add character and charm.
The Crown Wheel Suite
The Crown Wheel Suite features a luxurious sitting room with a view of the working water wheel, visible through a glass partition. The bedroom boasts a dramatic king-size four-poster bed complete with a canopy. The en suite includes a large, modern bathroom suite with a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Located on the first floor.
Willhayne
Willhayne is a double bedroom recently converted on the original drying floor of the old Mill (second floor), offering fine views down to the stream.
